In 2022 Eureka! – the well-known and well-loved family and children’s visitor attraction – will open a brand-new Eureka! visitor attraction in Wirral.  Eureka! Science + Discovery will be a high-profile addition to the exciting cultural landscape of the Liverpool City Region, a crucial element in the regeneration of the left bank of the River Mersey and the only Science and Discovery centre specifically for children and young people aged 6 – 14 in the UK.

The new science and discovery centre will complement Eureka!’s National Children’s Museum located in Halifax, West Yorkshire – which remains the UK’s only dedicated children’s museum.

I conducted the initial fundraising feasibility study for Eureka! Science & Discovery, developed a partnership and fundraising strategy for the new attraction and implemented this alongside Eureka!’s teams to secure £11.25m by early 2020. The new venue is on track to open in Autumn 2022.

“I have worked with Anna on many projects over the years and knew exactly where to turn when we needed a fundraising professional to explore the potential of raising £11M+ for a new Eureka! Science and Discovery Centre in Merseyside.  Following the initial feasibility study, Anna was instrumental in helping us to secure several major grants and establish partnerships with key funders.  Her extensive knowledge and skilful application of strategic fundraising helped us achieve our target within a tight timeframe, and her passion for the project was contagious, it made working with her a pleasure for everyone involved.”
