Anna Scrine

I would highly recommend Anna as a highly competent, articulate strategic thinker and communicator.

Anna worked for nearly 10 years at the National Media Museum in Bradford (then the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television), finally as Director of Development. She established corporate sponsorship as a significant new income stream into the Museum and led fundraising activity for several successful, large-scale capital projects, including a £16m capital redevelopment in 1997.

In 2005 she moved to Devon to take up the post of Development Director for the Dartington Hall Trust. Here she established a central fundraising service to support the Trust's far-reaching activities in the arts, sustainability and social justice, and doubled fundraised revenue income within the first year. She overhauled the Trust's communications, introducing a new brand and identity system which enabled Dartington to share its vision and plans with supporters in a single compelling, consistent voice.

The many joys of Devon could not quite compete with Yorkshire and since early 2008 Anna has practised as an independent consultant, based in West Yorkshire. In that time she has worked successfully with organisations active in the arts, community welfare, learning, heritage and human rights. Projects have spanned capital and revenue fundraising, organisational development, strategic planning and practical help with project planning and applications.
